Approval of Congregational Minutes from 2/16/2020 and 7/9/2020 Budget Approval
Pastor Tobi reported that Roger Obbink, a former Staff Musician at OSLC, recently died. He made a bequest in the amount of $237,599.62 from life insurance proceeds payable to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. We thank him posthumously for this generous gift.
Based on Continuing Resolutions 2007:1, bequests greater than $10,000 will be distributed using the 10/10/80 model. Briefly: 10% of the funds are allocated to missions beyond the congregation; 10% is allocated to the OSLC Foundation; and 80% is to be used for long-term programs/projects (longer than three years), for the health and mission of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. The Oversight Team has the final responsibility to allocate the funds from bequests, but the Oversight Team requests input from the congregation.

- Could Zoom be used so that congregation members could observe at Council meetings?
- Could an informal, once a month Zoom gathering be scheduled for members to keep connected?
